GIVING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS
We ask that individuals who want to support the work of Somos El Poder review some of these giving opportunities and benefits. You can sponsor organizations and individuals and organizations to receive Somos El Poder support and guidance.  We will work with the donor to determine which organizations/individuals would be sponsored. At the higher levels we also allow for the sponsorship of whole programs. We do not change the name of the program but insert a "This program sponsored by ___" at the end for a year. We engage all our donors to visit our programs at their leisure.  Giving to Somos programs can directly support the growth and strength of the Latino nonprofit sector, your community and the causes you care about.

Supporting Somos EL Poder

"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime" - Old Chinese Proverb
"Dale un pescado a un hombre y lo alimentarás por un día. Enséñale a pescar y lo alimentarás para toda la vida" - Antiguo proverbio chino
Like the old proverb, SEP is unique in that you will be helping Latinx Focused nonprofits build powerful self-sufficiency. When you support SEP it goes beyond helping organizations we all care about to improve our fundraising. Your generous contributions enabled us to provide our members with invaluable training in fundraising strategies, significantly impacting the funding they receive.

It's empowering. Our leaders will show themselves that we indeed can raise more funds, accomplish goals, improve, and expand programs. We can teach a whole generation of our young nonprofit Development Officers, Leaders, and Board Members that we can indeed raise billions from our people!

We estimate that Latinx in the US today have the potential to give over 24.7 billion dollars annually! We have the giving power amongst our own 24 million working Latinx. We know we need so many things for our people. The resources to improve our lives and tools to fight for justice!

We can do it! Si Se Puede!
